How to Apply - Vocational Courses
Here's the information you need to get started with your vocational application as a local student. Application for most courses can be completed via a simple online process.
APPLYING FOR CERTIFICATES, DIPLOMAS AND ADVANCED DIPLOMAS
1. CHOOSE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Browse through our wide selection of vocational specialisations and when you see the course that suits you best, click to apply.
Note that not all courses are offered at all campuses, and some courses are only offered full-time, so make sure you check the details during your search.
2. SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
A quick online process that should take less than 15 minutes. Submitting your application is your formal expression of interest to study at Angliss and is essential to guarantee that you will be considered for a course.
For Certificates, Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas, you do not need to upload any documents.
3. COMPLETE SELECTION REQUIREMENTS
After you apply, we will be in touch to invite you to attend a Pre-Enrolment Interview* with our course advisor.
The Interview will consist of two parts:
- An informal face-to-face interview, taking up to 15 minutes. The interview is to help the course advisor to assess your genuine intention to study, and for you to share with us briefly about yourself so we can ensure we are a good fit for your career goals.
- Completion of the Pre-Training Review form - this form should take between 30 - 45 minutes to complete. This is not a test, but it does allow us to understand a little more about you, your education/work history and why you want to pursue a career in foods, tourism, hospitality or events!
Once you have submit your application, an email will follow with the Interview Booking Link, and you can choose the date and time that is suitable for you. We will also remind you of what you need to bring with you for the day, which is a proof of ID so you can prove your identity.
Formal IDs can be: Australian passport or your Permanent Residency Visa.
*Certificate III in Aviation applicants might have to attend additional interviews, and you will be contacted specifically regarding these requirements.
4. WAIT FOR AN OFFER
Once you complete all your selection requirements, we will hopefully be able to offer you a place with us for your chosen intake!
Offers will usually come out 1-2 weeks after you complete the requirements, but can take longer during busy periods.
Either way, we'll let you know if you are successful or not.
