Apprenticeships and traineeships are excellent pathways to employment, and allow you to have the work experience that can give you a head start while also giving you the technical skills you learn through study.

Apprenticeships

As an apprentice, you’ll be mentored and trained by industry-leading professionals. Our teachers and trainers care about your development and know what it takes to succeed. As part of your learning, you’ll get in-depth training and support that sets you up for success in your chosen trade.

Traineeships

Traineeships are a way to gain a recognised qualification while you work and extend your skills. Traineeships are usually in non-trade areas and can vary in length.

Certificate III in Bread Baking (FBP30421)

APPRENTICESHIP

Gain well-developed skills in the fundamentals of commercial and artisan bread production with on-site training combined with on-the-job training as an apprentice.

Certificate III in Cake and Pastry (FBP30321)

APPRENTICESHIP

This apprenticeship will develop core skills across a range of fundamental cake and pastry competencies, taught on-site and with on-the-job learning.

Certificate III in Meat Processing Retail Butcher (AMP30815)

APPRENTICESHIP

This apprenticeship program includes block release and on-the-job training designed to provide you with highly developed skills to work in the meat retail industry.

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (SIT30821)

APPRENTICESHIP

A cookery apprenticeship enables you to learn fundamental skills and knowledge through campus-based training combined with on-the-job experience.

Certificate III in Meat Processing - Small Goods General (AMP30916)

TRAINEESHIP

This traineeship program includes predominantly on-the-job training with specialised subjects for on campus training designed to provide you with highly developed skills to work in the small goods retail industry.

Certificate III in Meat Processing - Small Goods Manufacture (AMP31016)

TRAINEESHIP

The Certificate III Meat- Small Goods Manufacture qualification will provide you with the essential tools and knowledge to work in a small goods manufacturing environment.
