Biography
Julianne’s career in the tourism industry started in 1991 in London, and over the years has covered retail and corporate travel, plus she has been heavily involved in an extensive range of outdoor special events and festivals. She began her teaching career in 2002, moving into higher education in 2009 upon completion of an MBEM from VU, and her subsequent studies include a GCTT from the University of Melbourne.
Julianne is a creative thinker and a vehement advocate for trying new ideas to enrich the learning experience of her students. Her passion for learning design has enabled the opportunity to mentor colleagues plus create and share learning opportunities. This has resulted in an on-line gamification, the facilitation of student co-creation of content and various innovations including a website (Hotel Angliss) and Industry Experts (guest speaker) repository.

- GCTT – Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching, Melbourne University
- CHIA – Certificate in Hotel Industry Analytics, STR training
