NAIDOC Week

Join us for a morning tea, and learn about the First Nations people through art with Bronwyn David, a contemporary artist and proud Palawa-Trawlwoolway woman whose ‘artistic vision and inspiration comes from her connection of the land and water ways of our magical country’.

Bronwyn will lead the group in a communal art project where the finished work will be displayed at William Angliss Institute to commemorate NAIDOC week.

Don't miss this chance to immerse yourself in the beauty and significance of First Nations art. Let's celebrate together and show our support for the First Nations people of Australia during NAIDOC Week!

What You Learn

Each participant will create their own unique symbolic designs and together we will create a collaborative art piece combining all of our stories together in a unique interwoven mixed media piece. On our journey we will talk about the importance of the symbols and why connection to culture is so important.
