Great Chefs 2024 Program Unveiled and Celebrating 30 Years

Celebrating 30 years, we are proud to announce the launch of the Great Chefs 2024 program. This milestone marks three decades of excellence in culinary education, solidifying our status as leader in culinary education.

The Great Chefs program has been a close part of the William Angliss Institute for decades, inviting renowned chefs from across Australia to showcase their talent and expertise with students and taking the guests on a unique culinary tour.

According to William Angliss Institute Professional Cookery Instructor, Chef Lisa Morrison the program has proven a successful part of the learning experience. “Since 1994, the Great Chefs program has consistently attracted some of Melbourne’s top chefs to the Angliss Restaurant.

Our cookery and hospitality students gain first-hand experience and exposure to the latest techniques and cooking methods being used by industry-leading chefs and restauranteurs,” she says.

In 2024, there are eight dinners and five lunches scheduled. The first two dinners in April, with Chef Tony Twitchett from Taxi and Chef Adrian Clemmens from MoVida Aqui, sold out in less than a day, a usual phenomenon for these sought after Angliss dining events.

Dinner consists of 4 courses and lunch consists of 3 courses, both with matching wines.

Calling all culinary epicureans to hear from a Great Chef, enjoy an exclusive menu and learn about the inspiration behind their creations chefs while supporting the next generation of chefs and hospitality leaders.

These events book out fast so watch out for upcoming Great Chefs dinners and lunches. Or sign up for our restaurants newsletter to be the first to hear of exciting culinary events.
